FY2026 Federal Grants - 1-week pause on reimbursement (11/13/2025)

FY2026 Federal Grants – 1-week pause on reimbursement request processing (December 1 – 7, 2026)

Starting Monday, December 1, there will be a pause on processing reimbursement requests for FY26 federally-funded grants to allow DESE Grants Management staff to prepare its annual bulk payment to MTRS on behalf of federal grant recipients. FY24 and FY25 multi-year entitlement grants and FY26 State- and Trust-funded grants will not be affected by the pause.

You may submit reimbursement requests for FY26 federal grants during this period, but they will not be approved until after DESE has made its payment to MTRS. The pause is projected to last through Sunday, December 7, but length is subject to change.
