Brief Delay in Reimbursement Request Processing starting 1/8 (12/29/2025)
There will be a brief delay in payment processing due to the state Comptroller's office (CTR) switching to a new accounting system.  
This switch will NOT impact GEM$, which is a DESE grant system interface, but it will cause DESE to have to pause processing reimbursement requests to the state's accounting system for approximately 12 business days.  The last batch of payments prior to the temporary pause will be sent by DESE on 1/7/2026.  The brief pause will be 1/8/2026 through 1/26/2026. 

DESE has been working closely with CTR to ensure the cutover is smooth and other than this brief pause there should be no impact on grantees.  
FY26 and FY25 0240/0262 Reimbursement Request Issues (12/22/2025)
DESE is aware of error messages attached to the FY26 and FY25 active grants 0240/0262 reimbursement requests.  We have been in communication with the vendor that houses the grants system to address this issue.

CD Policy and Local Grad Requirement Form Now in GEM$ (9/17/2025)

We are pleased to announce that the CD Policy and Local Graduation Requirements application supplement is now available for districts to complete in GEM$. Detailed technical guidance (download) on how to submit the supplement in GEM$ is now posted on our updated Graduation Requirements webpage under the “Resources” section near the bottom of the page.
